10 Essential Marvel Events Not Yet Used In The Movies

8. The Clone Saga

Yes, this is one of Marvel's most controversial stories. Nobody can deny that, least of all the Spider-Fans who had to suffer through the "Who's the REAL Peter Parker!?" teases of the nineties. But it's still one that's embedded in the memory of Spidey fans everywhere, and not in an entirely negative way. It brought about some great characters in Ben Reilly and Kane, while opening doors to just how crazy genetic experimentation can get in the Marvel universe.

Removing all the soap opera elements that made this particular arc a crazy mess, but keeping with the clones themselves and the since well-developed characters of Ben and Kane, as well as Peter's own growth as a result of taking responsibility for two men made from his DNA, will make for some fantastic storytelling.

Having a supervillain or shadowy companies want to clone one of Marvel's greatest heroes is appealingly simple superhero fare, and if handled correctly, the questions of humanity and ethics put forward by what could be their world's first fully human super-clones, could change the landscape of the MCU once again.
