10. Maximum Carnage
Carnage is a great character who deserves to be included in the Spider-Man movies. Superficially he's a red version of Venom but he's also much crazier thanks to the symbiote's host, Cletus Kasady, a deranged serial killer. The Maximum Carnage storyline sees Carnage/Cletus escape Ravencroft Institute, recruit a number of supervillains like Carrion, Shriek, Demogoblin, and Spider-Doppelganger (none of them classics I know), and goes on a rampage across NYC. Spider-Man is forced to team up with villains like Venom and Morbius, as well as Captain America, to stop the carnage. It's not a great comic but it's a good jumping off point for the movies. You establish Carnage as the principal bad guy and show Venom as more of a good guy which you need to do if he's going to get his own movie. Morbius would be a great addition to the movie universe too, a scientist who was turned into a vampire who's looking for a cure to his vampirism. Obviously Cap won't be in these Sony movies but a team-up between Spidey, Venom and Morbius would be amazing to see as would the potential for epic fight scenes between the two symbiotes.
