10 Even More Movies With Ridiculously Subtle Foreshadowing

1. The Five Musketeers - The World's End

Throughout Edgar Wright's The World's End, Simon Pegg's Gary King talked a lot of nonsense, as you'd expect from someone who never quite grew up. However, one bit of supposed nonsense was secretly a simply astonishing piece of foreshadowing.

When Gary finally got together with his old school friends Oliver, Peter, Stephen, and Andy (Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, and Nick Frost), he called them The Five Musketeers. Cue the conversation that there were only three, four if you count D'Artagnan, to which Gary responded that five would have been way better. That way two of them could die and you'd still be left with Three Musketeers.

Guess what happened to the group of five. Oliver and Pete were both killed by the androids that had secretly taken over Newton Haven, leaving the Three Musketeers of Gary, Andy, and Stephen to face them alone. Truly outstanding.
