10 Most Excrutiatingly Annoying Comic Book Movie Characters

8. Jarko Grimwood (Blade: Trinity)

I can't really fathom what David S. Goyer was thinking through most of Blade: Trinity, but one of the more bizarre choices overall was the decision to cast WWE's Triple H as one of the film's villains, a vampire going by the ridiculous name of Jarko Grimwood. Though the idea of a bulky, hulking wrestler playing a scary vampire doesn't sound awful on paper, Triple H is just too big a star not to stick out like a sore thumb, and every second he's on screen, I was laughing at seeing Trips trying his hardest to act tough when not oiled up inside the squared circle. Then there's the character's other affectations, such as his pet dog vampire Pac-Man, his ridiculous exchanges with Ryan Reynolds' Hannibal King, and the fact that pretty much every other word to come out of his mouth is profane. There's a lot to wince at in this movie, and had it not been for Reynolds' brilliant improvisational skills, Hunter's scenes would surely have been even more painful.
