10 Famous Actors Who Decided To Turn On Their Own Movies

4. Brad Pitt - The Devil's Own

Devil's Own Brad Pitt is one of those actors who you can't really imagine would badmouth any one of his movies publicly - the man has far too much class for that kind of thing, right? For the most part, that point has remained true, although there is one movie in his filmography in which he's always happy to criticise: The Devil's Own, which teamed him with Hollywood legend Harrison Ford for a gritty drama about the IRA. It's a pretty awful movie. Directed by Alan J. Pakula (his last movie, actually), it was slammed critically, though it still made a ton of money in theatres, presumably because of its stars. Pitt, though, called The Devil's Own, "the most irresponsible bit of filmmaking - if you can even call it that - that I've ever seen. I couldn't believe it." He also said that a few months before the movie even came out, by the way, though it actually helped to make him an even bigger star.
