In 2415, the world is still recovering from a virus that wiped out 99% of the global population back in 2011. Now, all of the survivors inhabit Bregna - a walled city-state, which is ruled by a congress of scientists. Although Bregna is largely idyllic, people are routinely disappearing and everyone is suffering from bad dreams. on Flux is a member of the Monicans, an underground rebel organization who communicate through telepathy-enabling technology. Flux had a sister named Una who was supposedly killed for being a Monican - although she actually wasn't. The secret reason she was killed was because she was pregnant - the result of Trevor Goodchild (leader of the government and member of a powerful family) successfully reversing an infertility epidemic that meant cloning was the only form of 'reproduction' still possible. However, Trevor's brother took umbrage to this, seeing it as a threat to his family's power and was the man responsible for Una's death as a result. on Flux then sides with Trevor and plots to destroy the cloning facility, kicking a whole lot of ass in the process and displaying phenomenal agility and acrobatic skills. A real kick-ass female.
