The increasingly-disheveled leader of television's hardiest ragtag group of post-apocalyptic survivors has racked up the biggest total body count over five seasons of The Walking Dead, with Daryl only a few kills behind. Given the ordeals the group have been through over the years, it doesn't come as much surprise that Rick Grimes has also killed more living people than anyone else on the show besides the Governor.

Rick's most prolific season was the show's third, when he was responsible for the demise of 44 walkers and four humans, the only other time during the show's run when he topped the death charts apart from the first season. However, Rick could very well lose his title as the Walking Dead's ultimate merchant of death depending on the events of the upcoming sixth season, with Daryl on 149 and Glenn on 129 both in with a shot of catching up.
