10 Film Miscastings That Ruined Our Favorite Characters

8. Keanu Reeves - John Constantine

The star of Vertigo Comics' Hellblazer series - John Constantine is from Liverpool, England and is drawn to look like former Police frontman Sting. When Hellblazer was adapted to film as Constantine, Keanu Reeves was cast soon after his stint in The Matrix trilogy - leading some to believe the casting choice to be a gimmick to draw fans of that series to theatres. The film quickly gained attention when the lead was changed to a dark haired American - much to the chagrin and outrage of Hellblazer fans.
