7. Keith Lemon: The Film (2012)
English comedian Leigh Francis' creation is a divisive character, with opinions ranging from those who find Keith Lemon hilarious to those that find him insufferable. One thing that certainly isn't up for debate is that feature-length spin-off Keith Lemon: The Film is beyond awful. Loaded with cheap gags and infantile humor and boasting no semblance of wit whatsoever, the slender 85 minute running time drags on for what feels like an eternity. Boasting a script that could have probably been written on the back of a napkin (and may well have been), the tedious 'rags-to-riches' narrative lurches from one staggeringly unfunny sequence to the next, padded out by a procession of low-grade celebrity cameos. Well and truly scraping the barrel in its attempts to wring a laugh of out the proceedings, Keith Lemon: The Film is without a doubt one of the worst British comedies to ever get a cinema release.
I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
