10 Fox And Sony Marvel Actors Who Could Reprise Their Roles In The MCU

If Marvel Studios is indeed planning to explore the Multiverse in Spider-Man 3, then The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Green Goblin could be given the opportunity to shine again. Poor Chris Cooper only had a handful of scenes, with the main one being on his deathbed, so who knows what he would have ended up bringing to the role.

Marvel Studios could rectify that in Spider-Man 3 and beyond, not necessarily picking up with where that Sony sequel left off - Norman's decapitated head was being cared for by The Gentleman - but using him as this shared world's version of the villain.

Fans are desperate to see Tom Holland's web-slinger cross paths with his greatest foe in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Cooper is a solid choice to make that happen. In his few minutes of screentime back in 2014, the actor certainly managed to display some diabolical personality traits, and Kevin Feige can now take that and give the actor a chance to bring his Green Goblin to life.

Whether that's through a colourful costume or horrific transformation is up for debate, but if Jamie Foxx can get another chance, why not Cooper as well?
