10 Franchise Reboots That Were Better Than The Original

3. Daniel Craig's James Bond

Pierce Brosnan very well might be the best James Bond ever. He embodied the role of Bond better than anyone before and since. However his movies went from fun but ridiculous, to downright cringe-worthy. Step-in Daniel Craig and a post-Batman Begins world, in which James Bond became dark, gritty, and realistic. Flawed as they may be, the Daniel Craig Bond movies are the best the series has ever spawned.

James Bond is like an old fashion trend; it comes back every few years and will until the day we die. There has been many actors to play the role of Bond, ranging from fine to brilliant, but many eyebrows were raised when Daniel Craig stepped into the role. It's easy to forget now but following the Brosnan movies, many were of the impression that Bond's day in the sun had come and gone. Having a rogue spy with outlandish gadgets, who uses women like Michael Bay uses explosions, felt a little outdated.

While the Daniel Craig movies haven't fixed all the issues with the series, they went a long way to reinventing Bond and making it a valuable property once again. The next Bond should take that even further.
