Reese Witherspoon's Tracy Flick is a Type A, top of the class, nerdy spin on the mean girl. It has lots of high school drama and that staple of all good teen films, Chris Klein. But it also has an extremely messed up plot line in which not one but two teachers at Flick's school become sexually obsessed with her, with one of them even pursuing an (entirely illegal) relationship with her. The scene in which Matthew Broderick's Jim fantasises about her while having sex with his wife is the nadir of the whole horrific mess.
