The Myth: While on his deathbed suffering from lung cancer, various unidentified individuals took it upon themselves to cryogenically freeze the founder of Disney in the hopes that doctors would one day be able to cure his illness. In an attempt to keep his frozen remains a secret from the world, Walt Disney's body was stored away beneath Disneyland of California. The Truth: Aside from the fact that being able to cryogenically freeze human beings for preservation isn't even possible yet (let alone when Walt Disney died), there's absolutely no truth to the myth whatsoever. Walt's daughter Diane Disney Miller even went so far as to dismiss the claims as being true, stating that she doubted her father had even heard of cryonics. If you don't believe the words of Walt's daughter, you could always grab a shovel and go digging at Disneyland for yourself - we're not sure how far you'd get before being incarcerated in an asylum though.
