10 Giant Plot Holes You Probably Missed In Quentin Tarantino Movies

3. No One Recognizes Hugo Stiglitz in Inglourious Basterds

Film Title: Inglourious Basterds Part of the basterds outfit, Sergeant Hugo Stiglitz is a convicted German traitor and murderer. While still working for the Third Reich the man snapped and killed several high ranking superior officers. He is a known and wanted man throughout all of Nazi occupied Europe and especially in Germany. Sort of makes him an odd choice for undercover work then behind enemy lines. In the infamous thirty-minute tavern scene Stiglitz sits with several fellow Germans, but none of them recognize him. Not only there, but no one recognizes or reports sighting Stiglitz at all throughout the entire film. For a nation that was filled with spies working for the SS and Gestapo a man as notorious as Stiglitz is described to be would not make it very far.
