8. Suicide Squad: The Black Vault
After the Oscar award winning success of Suicide Squad, you'd be a fool not to check out the most recent version of Task Force X in this other Rebirth book. Rob Williams brings the Squad back with a bang, setting the team up to retrieve a 'cosmic item', the nature of which is not revealed until later in the book.
If you enjoyed the colourful cast of characters featured in the DCEU film, then this graphic novel is perfect for you, with pretty much the same roster once again working for the US government, the only difference to the characters being that they are their comic book counterparts.
Despite starting off strong in this first volume, the series somehow manages to become even more bombastic, with the team even eventually facing off against the likes of the Kryptonian General Zod, making this a brilliantly fun series to read.
