10 Great Comic Book Moments That Should Be In A Movie

9. Spider-Man Humiliates Wolverine

Spider Man Wolverine This is very unlikely to ever happen, given that Spider-Man and Wolverine currently reside in different movie continuities (although Hugh Jackman has expressed an interest in such a crossover movie), but seeing it on the big screen would be epic. It happens in Avenging Spider-Man #16 when a giant spider is on the loose and the X-Men want to deal with it (with Beast telling Spidey to step aside and let them handle the situation). Spider-Man disagrees and attacks the spider after the X-Men make a bit of a hash of it. Wolverine accosts him for it with his usual snide tone towards Peter and Peter snaps. He punches Wolverine, then easily dodges a retaliation, before brutally beating him down while telling him that he is physically and mentally superior to him in every way. The cool thing about it is that it brings Wolverine back down to Earth and shows him his level. Wolverine is tough - at a street level of heroism - but when it comes to fighting the big guns he's out of his league (unless the plot requires it, of course). Imagining this happening between Andrew Garfield and Jackman is just too good.
