10 Great Comic Book Moments That Should Be In A Movie

4. Superman Stops A Girl From Committing Suicide

Superman Suicide Girl This emotional scene took place in All Star Superman #10. It's arguably the most emotional scene in comic book history and certainly the most affecting moment of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's All Star Superman run, despite the fact it takes place on a mere single page and in only a few panels. In the scene, the Kryptonian man of steel interrupts a young goth girl's suicide attempt and reassures her that, although things may seem painful and hopeless, they're never as bad as they appear, she is stronger than she thinks she is and that she has the power to endure and that things will get better. Once she is convinced, she turns to him and he gives her a very poignant and Fatherly hug. It's not the only time that Superman has prevented a young girl from committing suicide, but it's certainly the most memorable and would make a fantastic movie scene.
