There's supposed to be a seventh movie (Child's Play 7) in the Child's Play franchise coming next year. It's set to be another sequel to the previous movies which, quite frankly, lost any sense of "horror" a long, long time ago. The first Child's Play movie in 1988 terrified people. The thought of a doll - the iconic Chucky - coming to life and killing people was the stuff nightmares are made of. However, six sequels later (the last of which - Curse of Chucky - was in 2013 and went straight to DVD), he's no longer even remotely scary and a modern revamp to make him so again is very much needed. The little red-haired doll is the most iconic of those horror killers still to get a reboot and we need to see a new, scarier version who works both with a new audience and with those who were terrified the first time around. So there you have it - ten great horror movies that need a modern reboot. Did you enjoy this article? Do you agree with the entries on this list? Which other classic horrors should get a revamp?
