10 Great Marvel Characters Yet To Appear In A Movie
2. Taskmaster
Taskmaster is something of a conundrum: he has the skill to copy the fighting style of almost anyone, has great ability and experience but has always been content to remain in the shadows.
MCU could fit his imitation power into the 'miracle' category with Scarlet Witch or make him an Inhuman or they can use the comic books theory that he has just been capable of mimicry since he was a child.
These factors actually make him a prime candidate for the MCU treatment. Plus he has comic-book ties to Red Skull and Crossbones who have already played major roles in establishing Captain America on screen.
Whichever way they go Tony Masters is a good fit and Taskmaster would be a good sub-boss - someone like Batroc or Crossbones who can be fought off before a main villain shows up. He can present a challenge without making them look ineffectual and kick all kinds of butt in a mid-movie fight.
Also he is the best reason for Deadpool to team with Cap, Thor, Iron Man and the other heavy hitters (assuming they can work on a rights share). The Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon has established, to great comedic effect, that Masters has trouble replicating Wade Wilson as he has no discernible fighting style and, just does what feels natural... or hilarious.
