8. Stockard Channing - Superman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ZWGv799MR_k# There is a lot of excitement surrounding the release of Man of Steel and I certainly am very excited about it. I'm positive Amy Adams will make a wonderful Lois Lane with her gorgeous looks and sweet sensibility. Man of Steel is going to be a beautifully shot movie about beautiful people saving a once beautiful planet. Now, imagine if Stockard Channing had won the part of Lois Lane during the initial casting of Superman: The Movie. Would Amy Adams be the actress getting the role today? In this screentest, Lois Lane is tough, classy, and most importantly, very funny. I don't know if anyone, man or woman, could play a wise-cracking newspaper reporter better than Stockard Channing. This Lois Lane holds so much power over Clark Kent, while never crossing the line into "mean". Instead, Lois remains a very tough, independent woman. I don't think this woman would ever need the help of Superman; she could just do it herself.
