Throughout Sons of Anarchy, Tara is both the reason Jax does what he does and a character who finds ever-increasing strength within herself.

Maggie Siff is perfectly cast, helping Tara to feel far more than just a passenger (especially in later series). As Tara, Siff is playing someone who seems to constantly come up against new life hurdles. The same is true of the workaholic actress Anna, the main character in Elisabeth Subrin's A Woman, A Part.

Anna (Siff) is run to the ground by her acting career. Cutting her involvement in a TV show short, she returns to New York in order to reinvent herself, inspired by memories of her past life. She also has to confront those she left behind. The film also stars Dagmara Dominczyk, Khandi Alexander, and John Ortiz.

A Woman, A Part is a mixture of passion and apathy, a balance that Siff carries throughout the movie with real class. Subrin's screenplay brings the best out of the actor, who delivers with a performance that give substance to the apparently frivolous decision making behind Anna's actions.

Asides Sons of Anarchy, Siff is best known for her role as Wendy Rhoades in the drama series Billions.
