10 Greatest Book To Movies Adaptations Ever

2. Lolita (1962)

url-15Film Directed By: Stanley Kubrick Original Work By: Vladimir Nabokov The most controversial book since The Bible, Lolita is by far the greatest work of fiction in the entire history of literature. Many, many will agree whilst some, including Nabokov himself, would point to Tolstoy first. The film version of this hilarious but strange novel was highly successful but had to, naturally, be toned down in order to be released. Firstly, Lo's age was increased to fourteen and various details such as HH's glances towards a photo of her whilst he was in bed were minimised. Despite its storyline, both book and film are enduring for their honesty, comedy and technical achievements.

I like Stanley Kubrick, Gore Vidal & Daniel Day-Lewis. I do not like the United States, Obama and most other Presidents.
