10 Greatest Book To Movies Adaptations Ever

9. Breakfast At Tiffany's

breakfast at tiffanysFilm Directed By: Blake Edwards Original Work By: Truman Capote Typically labelled a novella, I consider Breakfast At Tiffany's a short story because of its very short length. It is Capote's most famous work, although In Cold Blood deserves far more attention. The film stars the unfaultable Audrey Hepburn in one of her most revered roles during which she is at her most beautiful in the little black dress. Whilst it might not go down well the hardcore film-ites, I do consider this film to be one of the best for its stark comedy and its beautiful depiction of New York City, a depiction which, albeit beautiful, cannot compare to Woody Allen's passion for NYC. It was a good short story by a bad, bad man and it was a good film by a good, good actress. The director, Edwards, is far better known for his Pink Panther films with Peter Sellers.

I like Stanley Kubrick, Gore Vidal & Daniel Day-Lewis. I do not like the United States, Obama and most other Presidents.
