6. Muldoon Commends The Raptor Before His Death - Jurassic Park

Independence Day Marty

For all his warnings and reservations that the raptors were too dangerous to be kept alive at the park, game warden Robert Muldoon received exactly the death he wanted to prevent others suffering.

After engineer Ray Arnold fails to return to the group from his mission to reboot the security system, Dr Sattler and Muldoon head out to see what has happened. They find that the park-wide shutdown has caused the velociraptors to be released, and endeavor to distract them long enough to get the power back online.

Whilst Sattler seeks to return the power, Muldoon finds himself in the midst of the raptors. Raising his weapon, he sees one in front of him - but he doesn’t realise he is surrounded.

Unfortunately Muldoon wasn’t present for Dr Grant’s earlier warning about how the raptors hunt: "You stare at him, and he just stares right back, and that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, from the other two raptors you didn't even know were there.”

He has only the time to turn and see the other raptor at his side, realise they have outsmarted and surrounded him and admit defeat, commending the creatures on their win: “clever girl”, he says before being brutally mauled to death.
