10 Greatest MCU Villains Of 2021
5. Kingpin
At first, Clint Barton and Kate Bishop’s biggest worry in Hawkeye was the Tracksuit Mafia. However, they were just the lowest on a hierarchy that went right up to the Kingpin of the New York underworld.
He may have only appeared properly in one episode, but that’s all Wilson Fisk needed to make an impact. His presence was felt throughout the series, but when he finally arrived on screen opposite first Eleanor Bishop, then Maya and Kazi, before utterly destroying Kate Bishop, fans were immediately reminded of why he took the fandom by storm when Daredevil first released.
In terms of pure physicality, Fisk is on another level to any other so called street level villain. He could only be stopped by a bullet from Maya's gun, and even then it was shown off screen, so who is to say whether or not he was even defeated?
The truth is, Vincent D’Onofrio’s return to the MCU was, on its own, enough to send fans into a frenzy. Even if his involvement in Hawkeye would have been limited to just a photograph, he likely still would have made this list. We’ve already seen what he could do on Netflix, and there is no reason to think he will be any less dominant when he inevitably returns for Echo on Disney+.
