10 Highly Questionable Actions Committed By Jack Sparrow

8. He Almost Lets His Entire Crew Get Eaten By Cannibals

Near the beginning of Dead Man's Chest, it's revealed that Jack owes a debt to Davy Jones. Marked by Bootstrap Bill, Jack is afraid to sail the high seas since he would be "claimed" by Jones and attacked by the Kraken. In order to escape this fate Jack instead sails the Pearl to a remote island; that it turns out is inhabited by cannibals. Oops. Jack's entire crew is taken hostage and put into cages (made from human bones) while he's put on a throne and treated like a God. In the end Jack realizes he's going to be eaten, and manages to escape. On the run from the cannibals he seems to forget one minor detail: his crew. Never does Jack attempt to save them, and if they didn't happen to be trying to escape at the same time, they might have all been eaten.
