Dragonheart: A New Beginning is the direct-to-DVD sequel to 1996's Dragonheart - a high-profile, big-budget, star-studded fantasy epic.

The sequel, on the other hand, was none of those things. Nobody has heard of it, its budget was less than half what the original had, and none of the stars - Sean Connery, David Thewlis, Dennis Quaid - reprised their roles.

This downgrade in quality can also be gleaned from the film's poster, which, even without the following mistake, looks cheap and cheesy.

But forget all that for a second, and take a look at the hands holding the sword. Notice anything funny? Count the fingers and work your way up.

Everything adds up on the bottom hand, with four fingers present and a thumb wrapped round the back, but the second hand is missing a pinky - there are only three fingers and a thumb, with the little finger being omitted entirely.

It's hard to say why this happened. If there wasn't any room to slot it in, why not move the bottom hand down a bit to create some space? Instead, they've just gone "ah, f**k it", and hoped nobody would notice.

Well, we noticed Mr. Poster Man. We noticed.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
