1. Kramer Steps Through The Mirror - Airplane!

Airplane! is one of the funniest movies ever made, parody or otherwise, and for every devilishly pithy one-liner, there's a delightfully daft and deceptively clever sight gag to accompany it.

But even if you've seen the movie literally dozens of times, like we have, it's easy to miss a brilliantly subtle and ultimately quite mind-bending visual joke involving Captain Rex Kramer (Robert Stack) and a mirror.

The short sequence sees Kramer putting on his jacket in front of a mirror as he explains to his wife (Barbara Stuart) that the airlines and airports are full of "cheats and liars."

We cut away from Kramer, and when we cut back, he suddenly appears to step out of the mirror, revealing the "reflection" to simply be a doorway to another room from which Kramer can emerge.

It's a gag so brain-breaking that you can go countless viewings without even really processing it. For all of his talk about others lying, Kramer was clearly the most deceptive one of all. Make sure to check it out for yourself below.
