10 Hilariously Awful DVD Covers

3. Fist Of The North Star

I'm pretty sure most 4-year-olds with functioning eyeballs could design and execute a DVD cover better than this. For starters, it definitely wins the award for the most illegible DVD cover of all time - it appears that Lionsgate want you to earn the right to see this Malcolm McDowell-starring calamity, squinting your way around HMV until you finally come across it. Whoever chose the garish grey background should be shot; it clashes horribly with the already awful red font, making reading the title immensely difficult. Furthermore, the pictures of the three main characters are all horribly photoshopped in, looking more like awkward screen grabs from the film itself rather than proper publicity stills.
