10 Horrific Movie Deaths That Had To Be Cut Out

For a film best described as Jaws with a pig, Razorback is way better than it has any right to be. It’s a beautifully shot, atmospheric tale about a man searching for his missing wife in the Australian outback, and having to deal with a huge man-eating boar along the way.

The film originally had some disturbing deaths that had to be trimmed out, including the rather bleak fate of Jake the hunter. Jake tracks the creature down to avenge his grandchild, but instead he gets wounded and cornered by the beast.

The film cuts away from showing the attack, but in the original cut we saw everything. Poor Jake has his face bitten off in the attack, and it then goes on to devour him. This scene, alongside a couple of others, were cut to almost nothing in the final version since they were considered too gruesome.
