10 Horror Movie Deaths That Could've Been WAY Better

4. Damien Thorn - Omen III: The Final Conflict

The third Omen movie isn't particularly good, but it at least benefits from Sam Neill portraying an adult Damien Thorn (aka The Antichrist), and the promise that it'll finally kill him off once and for all, right?

Well, Damien does die at the end of Omen III, albeit in a woefully forgettable fashion which is admittedly quite appropriate for a film that feels so casually tossed-off for the most part.

Kate Reynolds (Lisa Harrow) is eventually able to catch Damien by surprise and stab him in the back with one of the Seven Daggers of Megiddo - the only weapons capable of killing him.

Kate promptly flees the scene while a mortally wounded Damien stumbles through the church ruins until Christ appears before him. A defiant Damien then says to Christ, "You have won nothing," before falling dead mere seconds later.

After watching Damien cause literal hell on Earth for three movies - including ordering the deaths of more than 30 babies - he really deserved a more epic and bombastic death than this.

This was low-key to a fault, and not at all befitting the Antichrist.
