2. The Craft Consulted With Real Life Witches

One film that should be on everyone's watch list irregardless of age, gender, or religion is The Craft - a celebration of teenage girls practising witchcraft that slowly learn the corruption of power as they plague their high school with incantations and spells.

For something so neatly tied in with Wicca, it seems only fair that they went straight to the source for getting the most realistic take possible on their characters' witchy endeavours, hiring consultant Pat Devin - aka the High Priestess of the Covenant of the Goddess, one of the biggest and oldest Wiccan organisations in America - to ensure that everything was on the mark.

Devin reached out to covens to confirm the correct chants, meaning that all the spells you see on screen are real life rituals, and instructed the filmmakers with authentic suggestions to give the film an actual witchcraft edge.

That's alongside Nancy's own Fairuza Balk being an avid consumer of Paganism as well, able to instruct her peers from her own experiences as she became a practicing Wiccan throughout filming, purchasing her very own occult shop that she used for research in the process.
