10 Horror Movie Parties We Wouldn't Want To Be Invited To

3. Fancy Dinner Party - Hannibal (2001)

The Slumber Party Massacre
Universal Pictures

The hunt for Dr. Hannibal Lecter continues in this 2001 sequel to the legendary "Silence of the Lambs". 10 years have passed since Lecter escaped from the grip of authorities. He has been living in Italy ever since, posing as a refined art scholar. When his true identity is revealed, he returns to the US, and a new cycle of Machiavellian scheming begins. Meanwhile, disgraced Agent Clarice Starling will try to keep Lecter at bay while dealing with the scrutiny of the FBI.

For many viewers, the climactic scene of this movie comes when Lecter drugs and subdues Starling, as well as Paul Kendler (Ray Liotta), her FBI supervisor and personal headache. During this painful sequence, the cannibal physician extracts a piece of the supervisor's brain while he is still conscious. Lecter proceeds to delicately season the pink meat and cooks it to perfection. Then he feeds it to a delighted Kendler.

I'm nervous enough at any regular fancy party, where I'm afraid I'll confuse the salad fork with the steak fork. I definitely wouldn't want to attend a feast where I don't know if I'll be part of the main course.
