6. Jigsaw - Saw VI

Throughout the Saw franchise, John Kramer, aka Jigsaw, forces his victims to take part in lethal tests, believing they will gain a new lease on life if they survive. (That's a big "if".) Although many of Jigsaw's contestants are lowlifes, it's hard not to feel bad while they're being incinerated, dismembered, or decapitated.

With one exception.

In Saw VI, Jigsaw's latest contestant is health insurance executive William Easton. Time and time again, this shady businessman refused to cover the medical expenses of his clients, solely to pocket the money. When Kramer asked him to pay for his surgery, William refused, effectively killing John.

So, not only has William sent innocent people to the grave purely for extra cash, he indirectly created Jigsaw. If William paid for Kramer's operation, he would've never turned into a serial killer, sparing the world of so much pain.

So, when William's "game" culminates with him having his body melted in acid, it feels like the scales of justice have been balanced. William probably suffered the worst fate of any of Jigsaw's victims, but it was also the most deserving.
