The incident is triggered after the chain of a truck snaps loose, causing the logs it's carrying to torpedo into the drivers behind. Each crash is filmed with brutal realism, with people being impaled, squashed, burned, or ejected from their vehicles.

One haunting moment that stands out is when Kimberley sees a man unable to free his mangled arm from his burning vehicle, causing the fire to peel his skin off. Just when it looks like things couldn't get worse, a demonic-looking juggernaut drenched in fire comes out of nowhere and crushes the poor man to paste.

Even though this scene is a dream sequence, it leaves a massive impression, since it perfectly captures how helpless humans feel when surrounded by chaos and death.
