10 Huge WTF Movie Post-Credits Moments

9. A Scrapped Musical Number - Renfield

The King's Man Hitler
Universal

Throughout a long and successful career that has even seen the man win Best Actor at the 1996 Academy Awards, Nicolas Cage has in recent years become more infamous for his eccentricity and bizarre style.

When Cage signed on to portray Count Dracula in 2023's Renfield, there was absolutely no doubt that it would be a completely off-the-wall affair different from any other story revolving around the Transylvanian legend. Expectations were met, and then some, but the film may be even stranger than many realise.

Renfield's end credits showed certain scenes that were left on the cutting room floor, in particular homages paid to previous cinematic iterations of Count Dracula, but among them is a shot of Renfield (Nicholas Hoult) seemingly leading a dance troupe in what was ultimately a musical number cut from the film.

The full sequence has since been posted to X (formerly Twitter) by Hoult himself, surely making this the first story about Dracula to feature a musical. As seen above, you can clearly see that the actor was having the time of his life throwing his everything into this scene, and it's a damn shame it was relegated to a mere hint in the credits.
