9. Michelle Rodriguez
Hollywood's residual action girl has never quite got her dues for being an ass-kicking superstar. Appearing in everything from The Fast and the Furious to Machete, the screen bows to her whenever she occupies it. She's a temptress who could rip your head off without hesitation. She shows in SWAT that she's more than capable of holding her own with the men and she does less bitching than most of the men too. It's surely time for Rodriguez to get her own franchise, she's the best thing about the otherwise dismal Resident Evil and Battle: Los Angeles and just so much fun to watch being directed by Robert Rodriguez in Machete. Cinema needs a kick ass heroine occupying its screens every couple of years and there's no better candidate than Rodriguez, who has an apt hand for the one-liner. A franchise for her could do what The Transporter did for Jason Statham.
