Patrick Swayze is the guy all men wanted to be and the guy all women want to be with. He was the definition of cool. He could get all the girls with ease, kill a man with his thumb and pull a bank heist after a surf. As tough as he was handsome, he appealed to all demographics. From wooing teenage girls in Dirty Dancing and Ghost to impressing the men in Point Break and Road House, he made grace and grit look so effortless. You can call Road House a lot of things, but boring is not one of them as Swayze struts from foe to foe as bouncer, James Dalton. Swayze's the pretty boy action hero who appeared in a homoerotic film with Keanu Reaves about surfing and still men were entirely envious of him. Swayze was impossibly cool - a throwback to old school machismo - it's a real shame he appeared in so few films before he sad death to cancer in 2009.
