4. Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is one of the most entertaining presence's in film today. He went from being the WWE's biggest star and pop culture icon to massive movie star and is the consensus coolest man on the planet. Yet, still much of his work has gone underrated. Early movies like Walking Tall and Welcome to the Jungle are very good action movies that display The Rock's undeniable charisma and just how perfect an action star he is. Both films struggled at the box office and he ended up doing comedic rubbish and family films such as Get Smart, The Game Plan and Tooth Fairy. His career at one point was going the same as future co-star Vin Diesel's. Wrestling stars have a history of bombing in motion pictures. Even Hulk Hogan, the "sport's" biggest ever star had a miserable career in films and WWE's attempts to produce their own pictures has been disastrous. The Rock has managed to last ten years in cinema, not an easy thing to do, and is sure to only get better and better. Faster was a dramatic improvement on his recent output and his introduction into the Fast & Furious franchise was much needed and resulted in a meteoric rise in success and stardom for the former wrestling star. Johnson is only going to go upwards, with a new Fast & Furious movie on the horizon and he should breathe life into the flailing GI Joe franchise. To go with these two well-known franchises, Johnson is appearing in Snitch, which if the trailer is anything to is going to be a lot of fun and going to test Johnson's acting chops as well as his muscles. Johnson's star is only going to grow and it is a mystery as to why some of his films are so underrated, but he's just getting bigger and bigger and won't be underrated for much longer.
