1.Batman On The Roof With The Bat Signal Shining
This is the iconic image of Batman for the final shot of the film. On the roof tops of Gotham, seeing the call to action. Now audiences could accept superheroes on the screen with a degree of seriousness. All the elements of Batman had been introduced, except for Robin. It isnt that the character cant work in the comics; its the difficulty of making a version of him or her work in live action. (Yes, there have been female Robins.) It is a shame that Tim Burton did not get too explore the full range of Batman villains. You get the impression that he would have fun doing his versions of Two Face, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc and Clayface. (With Helena Bonham Carter as Poison Ivy or Harley Quinn?) Still because of Tim Burton, a whole new audience found the character in another medium.
