10 Important MCU Details That Are Almost Never Mentioned

Announcing herself as evidently one of, if not the most powerful being in the universe over the course of her first solo MCU appearance, Captain Marvel's lack of screen-time or overall Earthly presence over the preceding few decades did leave many pondering what on earth Carol Danvers had been doing from the mid-90s onwards.

One of the final scenes in said 2019 prequel feature did offer a crumb of explanation, with Danvers gifting Nick Fury his pager back with a few mods and noting how he could contact her for "emergencies only" if she was within "two or three galaxies” of Earth. So, perhaps Fury did attempt to call upon her aid during Loki's attack on New York and many of the other Avenger-level threats, only for Marvel to not be within hearing distance of said distress call.

And as noted in Endgame, Captain Marvel is also responsible for "covering a lot of territory", acting as a protector and Avenger or sorts on thousands of planets across the galaxy. But aside from the odd throwaway line of exposition, next to no light has been shed on precisely what the former pilot has been getting up to during her space adventures pre or post-Blip.

So here's hoping The Marvels sheds some compelling light on the life she's been living since blasting back off into space in 1995.
