Few moments have ever elicited the sort of guttural joy as the sight of Captain America wielding the mighty Mjolnir did in the climactic battle of Endgame. However, despite being a riotous visual, it did offer up the question of how exactly Steve Rogers was capable of picking up a weapon only usable by those who are deemed "worthy".

A quick look at those who have taken up the hammer forged from the heart of a dying star points to those who possess innate selflessness and a drive to end the suffering of others being essential qualities in the "worthy" few.
