9. A St. Bernard Dog (Cujo)
Cujo was, simply put, a St. Bernard dog. A Stephen King creation and an overly aggressive St. Bernard dog, of course (having been bitten by a rabid bat), but still merely a St. Bernard dog nonetheless. Still, he managed to kill a very large number of people in his titular movie - in fact, his list of victims includes a gun-wielding Sheriff and several more fit and able adults. The majority of the film shows Cujo waiting around a broken down car, as the frightened passengers are forced to stay inside it. This was somewhat confusing, seeing as St. Bernard's one of the least mobile and quick breeds of dog in existence. They're very strong, of course, and are used as working dogs to this day. But quick and agile they are not. It's baffling as to why Stephen King would use a St. Bernard as a horror antagonist, but the film was still relatively enjoyable.
