6. One Cameo Was Actually Cut For Being Too Bizarre - Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse
As recently noted by one of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's three directors, Justin K. Thompson (via Empire), there was once a moment planned that would have seen a Toy-Biz Spider-Man version of the web-slinger popping up as one of the many, many Spider-People on show.
If that wasn't wild enough, a giant hand was going to be holding said toy off-screen.
Even without that moment of playtime come to animated life, Across the Spider-Verse wasn't exactly lacking in bold and downright barmy occurrences. This is a film that unleashes Spider-Rex, a Venom-verse detour, and a damn LEGO Spider-Man over the course of yet another astonishing Miles Morales adventure.
