It's ok to want to feel good about yourself; and Mr Fox proves that while it might seem smug, it's not a crime to want to exceed other's expectations of yourself. This quote comes from an animated fox, but that doesn't mean audiences should relate to it any less than if it were spoken by a person. People love to feel good about themselves, and to be praised and encouraged throughout life. And why should that be a bad thing? It's good to be happy.
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
