3. Jason Clarke - Australian

Here's a really obvious fact: Australian actors are supernaturally good at American accents. Just last year, exciting new American actress Margot Robbie came out of nowhere to play a New York stockbroker's wife in The Wolf Of Wall Street, only to turn out to be about as Australian as cork hats and Bouncer from Neighbours. Robbie's followed on from Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman, all of whom hail from Down Under but repeatedly take US roles off of decent, hard-working Americans. And it's not just the actresses: Aussies Guy Pearce, Hugh Jackman and Eric Bana have all become honorary citizens as far as Hollywood is concerned. One relative newcomer, though, pips the aforementioned to the post through sheer "come on, he was born wrapped in the Stars and Stripes wasn't he?"-technique: Jason Clarke. Clarke's so convincing as an American (see Zero Dark Thirty, Lawless, The Great Gatsby), he's now being typecast as the all-American hero - check out Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, or the upcoming Terminator Genisys.
