10 Laziest Animated Films Of All Time
3. Norm Of The North (2016)
In some ways, it's almost impressive how many bad cliches Norm of the North can fit in to one singular movie. The titular character, voiced by the well-known Rob Schneider, is made up of substandard character traits, from being completely one-dimensional to having such a bland physical design. The set up is so far-fetched as the speaking animal creatures are able to casually interact with humans whilst easily getting by in human civilisation.
As a polar bear, Norm journeys through sunny New York without being completely stunned by this dramatic climate change. It's so distractingly odd how he can just roam around the streets without anybody questioning why there is a large talking animal in the city. The plot line is rife with random side characters who are slotted in for a couple of scenes, to then never be seen again.
And if you haven't already guessed, the script is made up of gross toilet humour and lazily directed slapstick. Yes, Norm of the North was made purely for kids as the target audience but even then, the film is incredibly insulting to the children's intelligence - not even they would find this movie funny.
