4. Sausage Party (2016)
Probably the only movie on this list which definitely isn't aimed at children - and yet Sausage Party could easily be one, if not for the relentless profanity and vulgar imagery.
Very rarely have we seen an engaging movie being told from the perspective of anthropomorphic food, nor have we seen many CGI movies that are made specifically to appeal to the older generation. Unfortunately, Sausage Party fails at doing both. It's built around a lifeless storyline with generic characters - a talking meat product simply isn't an appealing protagonist.
But more frustratingly, the film could have been passably enjoyable if it had better jokes. The humour is based around food puns and sexual jokes (no one wanted to see that hideous food orgy), giving us one of the most unfunny comedies of all time, animated or not. If it won't offend you, it will disgust you.
Crude comedy at its lowest, Sausage Party is a waste of time.
