10 Laziest Movie Titles In Cinema History

2. Snakes on a Plane

Snakes On A Plane To be fair to the filmmakers of Snakes on a Plane, they probably wouldn't have amassed the instant Internet publicity that they did without giving their movie such an outrageously on-the-nose title, one which captured the web's imagination and ended up essentially kick-starting a creative collaboration between director David R. Ellis and the legions of net nerds who bought into the simple concept. It's a film about snakes...on a plane...what else do you need to know? Slap Samuel L. Jackson on the poster and you've got a perfect mix for box office dynamite, right? Wrong. What the filmmakers evidently did not realise is that net nerds don't go to the cinema all that much; they torrent their movies from their armchairs, and as such, the movie they actively supported (yet didn't bother going to see) unsurprisingly pulled in only modest box office grosses, when the pre-release buzz indicated an absolute smash hit.
