10 Least Convincing Movie Badasses

1. Roger Moore - James Bond (His Entire Tenure)

People might make fun of the Roger Moore Bond entries now for being dated and out of touch, yet they'€™re still entertaining movies. The tone is light, the action is fun and Moore€™'s charisma pulled audiences through the weaker instalments. It can'€™t be denied that Moore makes for an exceptionally lame action star however; if he'€™s the ultimate badass MI6 has to offer than the world is in serious trouble.

He'€™s hopelessly wooden in fight scenes, he winces anytime he fires a gun and villains only underestimate him because he looks like a smarmy banker, instead of a highly trained assassin. In comparison, Daniel Craig convinces as an action hero because he has the right physique and body language. He looks like he knows how to handle himself as well as a range of firearms. Roger Moore on the other hand looks out of breath even thinking about an action sequence. The only action moments he looks comfortable in are the car chases, as all he needs to do is sit down and occasionally raise an eyebrow.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
